Ora King Tyee Salmon

Ora King is a Pacific King salmon. It's famous in raw preparations as well as cooked. 

SAFE HANDLING — Keep frozen until ready to use. Remove from packaging and defrost in the refrigerator 8-10 hours before use. Do not defrost at room temperature. Once defrosted, do not refreeze and use within 3 days.

Ora King Tyee Salmon

This is not your everyday salmon, and its release is akin to a new vintage from a cult winemaker. Tyee is like "Screaming Eagle" for salmon connoisseurs

Beautifully fatty and distinctly marbled, Ora King Tyee Salmon is a precious fish from New Zealand. It’s everything about Ora King that chefs go crazy for — but MUCH bigger. At no less than 30 lbs each, these fish are giants! 

Chefs compete to get their hands on Tyee, as there are only a handful of its kind in the world. (There’s a strict allocation from the producer for how many of these fish each city can have.) We were able to get just one fish for the store — so hurry up and grab a golden portion while you can. 

Sold in 1 lb skin-on fillets, individually vacuum-packed and super-frozen
