Mussels are marinated and ready to eat. They’re great on crostini or served on their own. They are best served at room temperature garnished with fresh chives or parsley.

Marinated Mussels

These mussels are preserved in oil with garlic and parsley for flavor. They have a nice burst of acidity from wine vinegar. Ready to eat right from the package, they’re great on crostini or served on their own as a tapa. They are best served at room temperature garnished with fresh chives or parsley. 

You'll notice the mussels have different colors. The orange-fleshed mussels are female, while the whiter ones are male. Females get their orange color from storing their eggs. They all have the same great flavor.
