Mexican Blue Shrimp

Mexican blue shrimp are firm, juicy and sweet when cooked. Try them pan-seared with our Chili Lime spice blend. With the tail still attached, these Mexican blues make for a good cocktail shrimp. They are also great added to dishes like paella or seafood pasta.

If you remove the tails, you can use these shrimp in your favorite recipe for peeled shrimp, or chop them up and turn them into a flavorful shrimp salad.

SAFE HANDLING— Keep frozen until ready to use. Remove from packaging and defrost in the refrigerator 8-10 hours before use. Do not defrost at room temperature. Once defrosted, do not refreeze and use within 3 days.

Shrimp are caught from small, mostly sail-powered boats rather than trawlers, lowering their carbon footprint. The nets used are highly selective, reducing the number of unintended species caught alongside the shrimp and making this one of the most sustainable wild fisheries in the world. They are also fair-trade certified.
