SAFE HANDLING — Keep frozen until ready to use. Remove from packaging and defrost in the refrigerator 8-10 hours before use. Do not defrost at room temperature. Once defrosted, do not refreeze and use within 3 days.

Salmon heads with the collars attached are full of fatty, luscious meat. These are so coveted by enthusiasts that we’ve had special requests!

If you’ve never tried to prepare salmon heads, it’s easier than it looks. For best results, split the head in half. Rub them all over with cooking oil, salt, and the herb or spice mix of your choice, and roast in a 450 degree oven for about 15 minutes.

Bake or broil the head, put them on the grill, or poach in a flavorful broth. They’re loaded with meat.

Sold one head per pack, vacuum-packed and super-frozen. The weight of each head will vary with an average of 1.5 lbs.
