Australian Tiger Prawns

These big, meaty prawns are best pan-fried or grilled.

SAFE HANDLING — Keep frozen until ready to use. Remove from packaging and defrost in the refrigerator 8-10 hours before use. Do not defrost at room temperature. Once defrosted, do not refreeze and use within 3 days.

The fishery is certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). The season and number of boats is strictly limited, and the prawns are fished at night to ensure minimal impact on other species in the area.

Caught in the waters off Australia’s Northern Territory, these Tiger Prawns are a dramatic center of the plate item.

Sold in 180g trays of approximately 5-8 peeled, deveined and tail-on prawns, vacuum-packed and super-frozen.
