The Massachusetts striped bass season is closed for 2025! What we have is it! Very limited, seasonal supply.
A symbol of summer, the arrival of striped bass on the East Coast is an annual treat.
A favorite of both recreational and commercial fishermen, striped bass (aka “stripers”) are a migratory species that inhabit both coastal and estuarine ecosystems from the St. Lawrence river to the Gulf of Mexico.
Striped bass have beautiful, blue-black iridescent skin and bright white flesh with a briny taste reminiscent of their ocean habitat. Their fillets are great pan-seared or grilled – you don’t want to miss the wonderful crispy skin.
Sold in 16oz packs of skin-on fillet, vacuum-packed and super-frozen
ORIGIN: USA (wild)
*Our striped bass is wild-caught by small boats all along the Massachusetts coast. The striped bass fishery is even more regulated this year than usual to help maintain a sustainable population. Supplies are very limited. Get some striper today before it's all gone. We don't know if we will be able to get more.
