Halibut Cheeks

With its buttery flavor and tender texture, halibut cheeks are pleasantly different from a halibut steak that has a more flaky texture. It is well-suited to any number of preparations, from pans-seared, to simply grilled and topped with a punchy relish or pesto, to simmered in a Thai-style curry.

SAFE HANDLING — Keep frozen until ready to use. Remove from packaging and defrost in the refrigerator 8-10 hours before use. Do not defrost at room temperature. Once defrosted, do not refreeze and use within 3 days.

Everything you love about halibut, but make it extra tender, sweet, and delicious little morsels! Halibut Cheeks are wonderful just with a simple salt and pepper. Sear on each side and enjoy them on salads, in tacos, or skewer them and put them on the grill.

Sold in 16 oz. packs of halibut cheeks, individually vacuum-packed and super-frozen.

Note:Due to its wild caught nature, halibuts can vary widely in size and therefore their cheek sizes as well. You may observe some larger and some small pieces in your 16 oz portioned bag. Rest assured, they are all delicious.
