The Role
Wulf’s Fish is seeking a Customer and Sales Support Associate to help manage customer relationships and expectations in our wholesale division. This role will act as a liaison with existing customers and vendors. The job will consist of multiple functions: communications between Wulf’s Fish and our current customer base, communications between the account manager and customers, as well as assisting with daily activities in the sales office such as invoicing, data entry, and managing some aspects of shipping. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small team with a strong growth plan. At Wulf’s Fish, we carefully select and butcher by hand the fish we sell, and we’re committed to offering the highest quality available. We’re a hands-on company doing much more than buying and selling products we never touch, and we’re very serious about food and cooking here!
The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. They must also bring their culinary knowledge and be excited to talk about food and cooking.
This role would be a great next step for someone looking to leave the restaurant kitchen who would like to build out their skill set for a different kind of job in food. It would also be a good fit for someone early in their career in sales or customer service who would like to expand their skill set and get a more complete picture of how a food business works.
The Customer and Sales Support Associate will work in coordination with the existing Sales team to continue to grow our customer base and increase sales. The Customer and Sales Support Associate role is a critical part of the Wulf’s brand, and we pride ourselves on offering not only the best seafood, but the best relationships which come with attentive service and informed assistance to our customers. The Customer and Sales Support Associate will also bring insights from their customer interactions to help Sales Mangers grow their existing customers.
We will be hiring more than one person for this role, and we are looking for people to fill both day and evening/night shifts. Some weekend hours are required.
Responsibilities
Customer Service (40%)
Manage customer interactions through the shared ordering email and order confirmations.
Respond to customer phone calls, questions, and provide thoughtful suggestions on potential replacement items when we face product outages.
Implement order changes or adds with production team.
Stay engaged with the customers to resolve any potential shortfalls with products to ensure every effort is made to fulfil an order in full.
Support Sales Managers (40%)
Liaise with the sales managers to learn details about each individual customer, ordering specs, delivery details, and proper flows of communications.
Troubleshoot issues with orders, assist with clarifying specs, with the help of managers to ensure customer needs are being met.
Work with the sales managers to highlight specific products, or suggest potential product upsells where appropriate.
Assisting with price management.
Sales Daily Operations (20%)
Transcribing orders from email to paper.
Inputting orders from paper to QuickBooks.
Invoicing orders / creating BOL’s / Shipping documents etc.
Qualifications
Experience working with the public in a customer service, hospitality, or retail role. Professional food experience desired. A passion for seafood is a must.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with thick skin and an enthusiastic sense of humor.
Must be self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Must be willing to interrogate every process and product for continuous improvement and bring creativity and a hands-on approach to making change.
Must be a detail-oriented and customer-focused multi-tasker. Time management and the ability to set and complete tasks is key to success in this role.
Able to communicate clearly and concisely over the phone and in writing.
Customer focused: proactively seek and find ways to provide the highest standards of service.
Knowledge of seafood is required. Our culinary knowledge and engagement are part of what sets Wulf’s apart. We love to talk about fish and so do our customers.
Previous knowledge of, or willingness to learn, QuickBooks, Seasoft, and Excel.
Commitment
This is a full-time position, five days per week with Saturdays required. There is some flexibility on hours.
Will work from our office in Boston’s Seaport District. This is not a remote position.

Please tell us about your experience in customer service, sales, or a role working in hospitality as well as your seafood knowledge. Experience cooking seafood would be a big plus!
The Role
Wulf’s Fish is looking for friendly and hardworking individuals to join our Seafood Delivery Team. The daily routine typically includes but is not limited to: handling product, delivering to our restaurant customers throughout Massachusetts, and dropping ground and air freight.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record (No CDL required)
Comfortable driving delivery vans, experience driving box trucks a plus
Accountable and able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers
Strong attention to detail and an ability to retain new information
Must be able to work on your feet and lift 50 lbs
Experience with seafood and/or kitchen work is valuable but not required; we will teach the right candidate
Commitment
This is a full-time job
Must be willing to work when needed (6 days)
Multiple shifts/starting times available but 8 hrs per shift expected

The Role
Wulf’s Fish is seeking an experienced fish cutter to join our team.
Qualifications
Experience cutting all types of fish preferred
Attention to detail and the quality of your work is a must
Experience in all phases of shipping and packing is a plus
Must be willing to perform other warehouse tasks as needed. We are a small shop, and everyone pitches in to get the job done
Must be able to work on your feet and lift 50 lbs
Commitment
This is a full-time job
Must be willing to work when needed (6 days)
Must be able to start work early in the morning (5:30 or 6 AM)
