    Ora King is a Pacific King salmon. It's famous in raw preparations. Bellies can be sliced and eaten as sashimi, dressed for a crudo, or cut up into cubes for a decadent poke.

    SAFE HANDLING — Keep frozen until ready to use. Remove from packaging and defrost in the refrigerator 8-10 hours before use. Do not defrost at room temperature. Once defrosted, do not refreeze and use within 3 days.

    From a fish that is so full of fat and flavor, Ora King Salmon bellies are over the top. With a rich buttery texture, these bellies are melt-in-your-mouth good. 

    In Japanese cuisine, salmon belly (harasu) is a rare delicacy, and sushi chefs and lovers fight to get their hands on the limited supply. Harasu is salmon’s version of tuna’s famed toro. Bellies can be sliced and eaten as sashimi, dressed for a crudo, or cut up into cubes for a decadent poke. 

    Sold in 8 oz packs of skinless bellies, vacuum-packed and super-frozen

    Origin: New Zealand (sustainably farmed)
